January 2010: Attended Erie Section tour of Erie Water Works - Chestnut St Water Plant including the Bethlehem Steel Corp., triple-expansion steam engine, "Big Bertha."

Fall 2009: Attended Erie Section meeting at Brew-Erie with ASME distinguished speaker, Dr. Sam Zamrick.

2005 ASME Region V STUDENT CONFERENCE!

March 31 - April 2, 2005 at WVU, Morgantown, WV

Old Guard Speaker: Mark Turner

4/2/2005:  Mark Turner won first place in the Old Guard Oral Presentation contest.  Mark received $300 prize, plus travel funding to deliver his presentation in Orlando, Florida in November 2005 at the ASME International Mechanical Engineering Conference and Exposition.  He competed in Orlando against the first place presenters from the other 11 ASME regions.
