OBJECTIVE

Seeking a mechanical engineer position involving Engineering Analysis (FEA), Development, Prototype Testing and research functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Six years of work experiences in engineering analysis and design involving finite element analysis (FEA), geometric modeling, CAD, optimization and manufacturing (CAM).

* Finite element method application experiences in the the structure analysis (linear and nonlinear), dynamic analysis (impact and vibration) and thermal analysis (steady-state and transient).

* Solid theoretical background on FEM and excellent performance in C/C++ and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with development of finite element analysis (FEA) programs in the areas of software design and analysis.

* Experiences in developing the geometric modeling system, and familiar with several CAD/CAD systems.

Investigated the NURBS curve and surface for geometric modeling and integrated the results to a surface geometric modeling system and published 3 articles on this topic.

* Analyzed impact effects of the MSA helmet for Mine Safety Application (MSA) Company.

* Investigated failure mechanism of the Liftking Universal Carrier for Olympic Mill Services Inc.

* Finished an independent finite element analysis of a SAG Mill operated by Kalgoorie Consolidated Gold Mine (KCGM).

* Simulated Metal forming processes with ANSYS and LS-DYNA--hemisphere punch (sheet forming) and billet upset (forging)

* Developed an FEA core solver for nonlinear equilibrium equation using the Newton-Raphson iterative method with C language.
